Grokta just brought me a bowl with two free range eggs, spaghetti squash, wilted spinach, and our favorite bacon. Power meal!
Add in some Vitamineral Green and it’s on!
Spicy Chicken Salad
Today’s brunch was grilled chicken, red and green bell peppers, spinach, cilantro, tomatoes, onion, mushroom, fried egg, and hot sauce. All organic, all the time. So good!
Primal Breakfast
I’ll admit that when the Primal journey began it took a while to get used to not having “traditional” meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but with food like this it didn’t take too long!
- Shrimp dipped in coconut milk, dipped in coconut flour.
- Sliced plantains and cucumber cooked in coconut oil.
- Pinch of Celtic sea salt across everything.
- Fresh cup of Hawaiian Kona coffee with heavy cream.
Note: Grokta’s attractive presentation was destroyed by me taking a bite before she could take the photo. My only excuse was that it looked too good!
Primal Brunch
- Sliced roast beef
- Wilted spinach
- Cage free eggs
- Berries
- Celtic sea salt & cracked pepper
- Water & coffee
Green Machine Smoothie
- 12oz cup of water, with about 1.5 inches of ice.
- Between 1t - 2T of Vitamineral Green.
- 2 scoops Biochem whey protein. I like the vanilla.
- 1 organic banana (experiment with other fruits & veggies).
Toss all ingredients into a blender. 30 seconds on ice breaker mode, 1 minute on smoothie. Guaranteed no lunch time crash after this one!
Grilled Shrimp Salad
- Grilled shrimp with evoo & herbs
- Organic veggies
- Champagne salad dressing

- Homemade adobo seasoning
- Glass of water & cup of coffee for drinks

- Happy, hippy organic tomato and avocado
- Freshly ground coffee with a splash of cream
Grokta spoils me.
We’re still moving into our new place but Grokta has been awesome about keeping the primal meals coming. Here’s breakfast amidst the chaos.
Wilted spinach, grilled onions & tomato, and Canadian bacon. Cup of earl gray on the side with a splash of cream and a pinch of sugar.

Primal Bison Burgers
Grokta mixed some bison meat up with a combination of spices and tossed it on the grill. On the side is a chopped salad with lettuce, tomato, onion, avacado, and fresh herbs. The end result: primal/paleo friendly burgers that were to die for!
